Pretty Girl!!

Hiya Friends and Happy Thursday to you--wow this week is just flying by isn't it?  That's good, hee hee, less days until I leave for SC--can you tell I'm anxious to get away for a bit!  Lots to get down before I leave though including finalizing the next issue of the magazine, it's my last month as a Dirty Dozen Girl for SCS and I have lots of deadlines to finish up as well for pre-posting.  Last night my daughter went to see Taylor Swift with her friend in DC and didn't get home until midnite (that was part of her April bday present)--she had a blast but wasn't too happy that I still made her get up and go to school today, lol!  You play, You pay is my motto and I don't let them miss much school--I'm pretty strict about that.  They have to be really sick, we might be traveling but that's it---I give them one free pass a school-year that they can use to take a day off and they've used it, so she was outta luck :)  So they're both in school today, hee hee!  And I have work to get done, so let's get started!

Pretty Girl

For the month of June, Paper Romance is having a SALE!  10% off orders of $25 or more using coupon code PRChallenges!!

Today I'm sharing a DT card for my friend Amy's store Paper Romance---if you remember I was a guest designer a couple of months ago and Amy asked me to stay on as a guest designer for a bit more, and I was happy to say yes!  Amy sells a lot of fun stamps including High Hopes, Popcorn Bears and these cuter than cute Bildmalarna stamps.  I just love them!  And every Thursday the Paper Romance DT will have a DT Challenge that you can join in on---I will only be participating once or twice a month as a guest though.  This fabby sketch is by DT gal Cindy Haffner and you can find the sketch and challenge details HERE!

This fabulously cute lil' girl is a Bildmalarna stamp called "Little Mimosa"--isn't she just a doll?  I also loved Cindy's sketch--super fun to use!  My dp is by The Girls Paperie--I'm so loving this line of papers, just so delicate and pretty!  I double folded up my ribbon underneath the main image using scor-tape to keep it in place and the green cs was embossed with my fave CB swiss dots folder.  The flowers are a mix of Prima and Wild Orchid roses and then I cut green Prima flowers into leaves by snipping the petals--great idea to use those green flowers :)

She's colored with Copics of course (R85,R81,RV10/YG25,YG00,YG0000/C1,C00/E13,E11,E00) and then I used some stardust Stickles on the white areas of her sundress.  Her white patent leather shoes got a coat of diamond glaze for shine and then I drew in some grass with my Copics as well!  She's such a cutie!

Make sure and hop over to the store blog HERE to see the rest of the DT's lovely creations and to join in on the fun too (you don't have to have any of the store stamps to join, but it's nice if ya do)!!

I'll be back tomorrow with a new project and a NEW QuikBitz Video on hair coloring!!
